Fine-grain control of Graph Traversal Time Limit on a per-user basis
Fine-grain control of Graph Traversal Time Limit on a per-user basis
Addresses the differing needs of project roles: Where a developer might be satisfied with bounding trace computations with the time limit so as to not interrupt task flow with long loads, a QA lead is willing to wait for as long as it takes to produce a complete traceability report.
Seed issues JQL auto-completion
Seed issues JQL auto-completion
JQL auto-completion for the Seed issues criteria within the Trace Studio, the same auto-completion feature we know and depend on in Jira's Advanced Search.
Unification of issue link relationships and parent/sub-task relationships into a single notion
Unification of issue link relationships and parent/sub-task relationships into a single notion
Jira presents relationships between issues based on issue links and those based on parent/sub-tasks as separate notions. This feature aims to consolidate the notion of relationships between project artifacts, where parent/sub-task relationships (and any other type of relationship in future) can be selectively included or excluded during tracing just like issue link types are now.
Bring more project information into traceable range
Integration with other 3rd-party Jira add-ons and systems outside of Jira that hold project artifacts, such as requirements in Confluence, and data in test management systems. Support for a wider range of custom issue fields provided by 3rd-party Jira add-ons.
Customizable highlighting
For example, visually distinguish seed issues from non-seed issues, or issues relating to versions and projects outside of your scope. Draw visual importance to RAG status. Colorize according to custom criteria.
Customizable traceability reporting formats
Free-form report design. Output in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PDF.
Further performance improvements
Particularly for issue traces when browsing individual issues, and when working in the Trace Studio.
Improved control over issue fields and layouts
Customize individual fields to display information in a certain format and size. For example, enlarge the "Summary" issue field, or elect to display assignees' avatars instead of their names.
In-product help
Revises the help system available within the add-on software to unobtrusively offer contextual help in gradations on all documented elements, with quickly-accessible, brief explanations of purpose and usage, linking to successively more detailed information in the product documentation. The product documentation will be fully contained within the add-on software package, enhancing convenience and security for Jira installations in firewalled and high-security sites.
Inspect and modify issues and relations within the Trace Studio
Also including the ability to perform Bulk Changes on issue links.
Multi-level aggregate time tracking
Report summations of estimated time, time spent, and remaining time over multi-level hierarchies of issues.
Traceability Information Model
Capture your project artifacts and their relations in Traceability Information Models and have Jira display all matching information.
